The HUD operates when the car is running and turns off with the ignition. It displays speed, coolant temperature, voltage, mileage, and can clear faulty codes. Alarms include over-speed, high water temperature, low voltage, fault code, and fatigue driving alerts. The HUD automatically shuts down 30 seconds after the engine is off and restarts 5 seconds after ignition. It also has a manual switch, which is recommended to use when the vehicle is not driven for extended periods.

OBD2 Version

Compatible with OBD2 and EOBD systems; supports over-speed alarms. Displays speed, water temperature, and voltage.

1. Button "M": Short press to switch displays or enter menu settings; long press to access menu settings (Menu 1-12), hold for 5 seconds to save and exit.
2. Button "-": Short press to navigate menus and decrease values; long press to toggle the buzzer on/off (default is on).
3. Icons for engine, water temperature, voltage, and fatigue driving.
4. Automatic brightness adjustment via light sensor.
5. Speed units: MPH or KM/H.
6. OBD connection port for vehicle interface.
7. Power switch: Long press for 5 seconds to turn off/on.
8. Button "+": Short press to navigate menus and increase values; long press to turn all screens on and clear fault codes, press again to exit.

The OBD system is suitable for most cars manufactured after 2007. The OBD2 model works with OBD2 gasoline vehicles produced after 2004 in the USA and after 2008 in other countries.

Compatible with all cars and supports over-speed alarms. The working voltage is 5V; using a voltage higher than 5V is forbidden. Some vehicles may have voltages higher than 5V, but this does not affect compatibility. The package includes a USB cable that connects to the cigarette lighter and the HUD.
